The VDL works to provide timely and accurate diagnosis of animal disease to curtail the impact of losses due to animal mortality and morbidity. The lab participates at the local, national and international levels to achieve this goal. We are closely involved with animal and public health agencies in the state of North Dakota and engage in teaching and research at North Dakota State University.
